Permits are required for activities in

Sign Permit
For requirements and information regarding signs, please refer to Chapter 19 - Signs - under
Ordinances on the Borough Website.
Fence Permit
For requirements and information regarding fences, please refer to Chapter 27 - Section 27-309. Regulation of Partition Fences under
Ordinances on the Borough Website.
Zoning Permit
For requirements and information regarding Zoning and setbacks, please refer to
Chapter 27 - Zoning / Setback Requirements - Section 27-211. under Ordinances on the Borough Website.
For Zoning Classification please refer to the Zoning Map under
Ordinances or at Zoning Map on the Borough Website.
Please be sure to have your application completed in full before submitting to the Borough
to avoid any delays with approval. It is important that you answer all questions and have the proper setbacks on your application as required.
Dye Test Application
Dye Tests will now be requested through the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County (MAWC)
along with the sewage no-lien letter.
You can contact MAWC at 724-755-5800.
PLEASE NOTE: You are still required to request a municipal
no-lien letter through the Borough of Mount Pleasant
